Finally spring has arrived in Montreal !

I had this amazing weekend...the first two really nice, warm and sunny days from months. Saturday me and my husband headed to one of our favorite places near Montreal. The village is called Val-Morin and it is situated 90 km north from here. It is really tiny mountain village, with beautiful nature and nice people.Through the city passes this small river, where we usually go fishing. Unfortunately this time we didn't have the chance, because the river was so overflowing that even the houses situated near the riverside were partly under the water, some parts of the road too.

For a person who fears badly from muddy and fast waters  like me it was a total scare, so we decided to go somewhere else.

The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, smelling like spring. We visited the villages situated in the surrounding area. Actually the whole region is known for it's ski pistes, all sorts of winter sports amenities and Village du Père Noël .
And Sunday was even better, more than 20º Celsius. We met for a coffee with freshly arrived in Canada friends of my husband in the park next to where we live. It was a wonderful day, we didn't wanted it to end. But I'm sure there are much more of these coming ahead.

Have a nice week everyone !
